Throughout my childhood I discovered my passion for 2D animation and Digital Illustration In my first year of middle school, I began my path of doing digital works. During school hours I would draw stories and comics with friends, often covering my covering my entire bedroom walls with my drawing and sketches.
Animated films, novelists, and illustrators were a big role in my dream to become an artist. Their work inspired me at a young age to continue developing my style and create art. Some of my personal hero's are Hayao Miyazaki, Rumiko Takahashi, Walt Disney, and many more. I would try to create characters with their art styles or draw fan art. Current artists who I look up to are Rebecca Sugar, Pendleton Ward, and Jen Bartel. These artists styles are fun, friendly, and different compared to other. Their shapes of people and how they draw landscapes and buildings blend childlike features with professional skills, giving them a unique look. My style has changed drastically over the years as I am still trying to figure out which one feels the most natural.
Art to me is a way of unlocking someone's hidden imagination and allowing them to tell a story in their own way. Its a form of escape that allows me to indulge and reform my skills mindset, and allow me to relax.
